Biography

The child's parents were born in Germany, her mother in 1875 and her father in 1879. They were married on 16 April 1899 in the Hamburg Registration Office (Certificate Number 108, Reference Number 332-5_2929). Marie was the youngest of three children born to the couple. Two boys were born in Germany and little Marie at Mulline in Western Australia. The boys were Hans William born 17 June 1899 and William born about 1901. Mrs Hunert died about 1942 in Detroit, Michigan and Mr Hunert died in Perth in 1944.
