Biography

Little Emily's parents were married in Kookynie in 1910 (Marriage Registration 4/1910, North Coolgardie).

Her father, Francis, was born in New South Wales, about 1884. His wife was born 1891 in Collingwood, Victoria.  Francis died 11 August 1961 under the name Lehne and is buried at Karrakatta. His wife pre-deceased him when she died on 28 April 1935 while they were living in Kalgoorlie. She was 43 and is buried in Karrakatta Cemetery. The couple appear to have had at least one more child, a son, but no further details are available.
