Biography

George Kauiers was born in Victoria about 1879. His wife was born in Sandhurst, Victoria, in 1883. Her parents came from Hanover, in Germany. They married on 11 July 1900 in Bendigo (Marriage Registration 4519/1900 - in the name of KANIERS). Little Doris was their firstborn child. Others were: George Raymond born 20 November 1904, in Kookynie; Ivy May born 6 December 1905; Fredrick Charles born 1907 in Bendigo, Victoria; Lilian born 7 January 1909, In Bendigo, Victoria; Stanley Charles born 1 December 1910 in Bendigo, Victoria; Ronald Leslie born 3 March 1912 in Victoria. George died in 1912 in Bendigo and his wife in 1963 in Fitzroy, Victoria.
