Biography

The child's parents, Thomas McGauran and Margaret McCormick, were married in Coolgardie in 1902 (Marriage Registration 149/1902, Coolgardie). They had another daughter, Katherine Mary, born in July 1905 at Kookynie, who lived but a short time and died at 5 weeks. Her story also appears in this website. Thomas died in Geraldton in 1940, his wife in 1947 also in Geraldton.
