Biography

The child's parents were married in Kalgoorlie in 1905 (Marriage Registration 555/1905, Kalgoorlie). In 1893 Catherine had married Thomas James Frew, with whom she had four children. He died in Kookynie on 11 May 1902. His story appears on this website. After the death of her husband, Catherine took in boarders, one of whom was Frank Ford, who became her second husband. Frederick Francis Ford died in 1950 and Catherine in 1952.
