The deceased was buried by John Leitch in the Yundamindra cemetery in the Leonora district. Witnesses present at the burial were Max C Schneider and CB Webb. His death was certified in writing by Police Constable Donald David McDonald (Regimental No.267) of Kookynie.

Mr Crowley died from an explosion of dynamite caused by his own hand - which indicated suicide. He had been in low health for some time and had been advised by friends to take a spell and go east for a while. He was a very quiet, unassuming man and strictly honest. He had a brother in Kalgoorlie and a sister at a convent in Kensington, South Australia. He was employed by the Pendinnie Gold Mining Company.
