Biography

The child's father, John McBride, was born in 1866 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America.   His wife, Sarah De Gracie, was born in 1872 in Albury, New South Wales. They married in Kookynie in 1903 (Marriage Registration 514/1903). Margaret was their firstborn. Their next daughter, Mary Enid, was born on 21 May 1905 at Kookynie. Then followed Kathleen Cecily in 1906; John Hugh born 1908; Sarah Veronica born 1911; Elizabeth Jean born 1914.

John McBride died 21 July 1944 at Kalgoorlie. His wife died 30 April 1955 in Esperance.
